Road to 2016 U19 Cricket World Cup
The BCB U17 Trial Match and skills assessments commence today at Shelley Bay. The activities run from 11 am to 6 pm on Thursday 31 Oct and Friday 1 November. To be eligible, players have to be born on or after 1 September 1996.

BCB Congratulate Local Umpire
BCB President Lloyd Fray today congratulated BCUA member Melvin Best on his successful completion of the WICUA written exam. Melvin is now eligible to sit the oral and practical exam which leads to certification as a fully qualified umpire. BCB President, Lloyd Fray said, "I am very pleased by the continuing high standards and professionalism of the BCUA. Melvin has already established himself as a respected umpire and passing this exam is a big step to being fully qualified. On behalf of the BCB I congratulate Melvin and encourage others to consider joining the ranks of this important body in Bermuda cricket."

National Squad Players & Football
The BCB is aware that some National Squad players have recently played soccer. This matter is under investigation. There will be no further comment until the investigation is complete.

BCB Announce 17&Under Trial Matches
The BCB is holding two 17&Under Trial Matches on Thursday 31 October and Friday 1 November, 11am-6pm at Shelley Bay Field. These matches are the start of the preparation process for the ICC U19 World Cup Qualifiers in 2015. Players need to be born on or after September 1, 1996. To register please contact the BCB on 292 8958 or email [email protected] and provide your name, date of birth, email and contact number. Please bring water, snacks and equipment (if you have any) and wear whites. The trials are open, however, the following players have been identified to participate:

Bermuda Team Announced for the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier
The BCB is pleased to announce the national senior squad for the ICC World T20 Qualifier in Dubai in November. The squad will travel to Dubai on November 8th in preparation for the qualifier which provides 6 qualifiers for the 2014 World T20 in Bangladesh next April.
