Bank of Bermuda Foundation Sponsors the 2012 14&Under League

 

 

The BCB is extremely pleased to confirm that the Bank of Bermuda Foundation is continuing to support the Bank of Bermuda Foundation 14 & Under League for a second year. The 14 & Under League starts Friday 27 April and culminates on Saturday 30 June with the All Star Game for all those involved. This year the 14 & Under games have been extended to 35 overs and games will be played over consecutive Fridays.

 

Bank of Bermuda Foundation Managing Director David Lang noted:

 

"We are pleased to be able to continue our long-standing partnership with the Bermuda Cricket Board which is a Bermuda National Standards Committee certified Bermuda Charity. They provide the opportunity for Bermuda's youngsters, both boys and girls, to enjoy cricket in a disciplined environment that contributes to their well rounded personal development. At the same time they have great fun."

 

President of the Bermuda Cricket Board, Mr. Lloyd Fray stated,

 

"On behalf of the Board, I am extremely pleased to announce the Bank of Bermuda Foundations continued support of the 14 & Under League. Over the past five years the 14 & U program, which services ages 11 14 year olds, has grown to be a valuable program in helping young boys and girls develop into productive young citizens by keeping them active and involved in a sport that they love whilst at the same time providing them with the tools to assist them become valuable members of our community."
