U8 League Home Page

The U8 League has proven to be extremely popular from the outset with a total of 10 teams and 150 players participating from various schools and clubs from across the island. The main purpose of this league is to teach the basic skills of cricket while enriching the lives of all of Bermuda's children by providing an opportunity to interact with each other in an environment that embraces equality, team spirit and togetherness.

The U8 League is made up of teams of both boys and girls from schools and clubs across the island. The teams train once or twice a week and then play at the National Sports Center every Saturday from 9am-11am. The BCB actively encourages clubs and schools to link together to pool resources to enable more players to participate.

Our vision is to "improve lives through cricket" and we believe strongly that all our programmes provide our youth with the structure and discipline needed to enhance their social and physical development as well as a fun and safe environment in which they can spend their time after school and on weekends keeping many young boys and girls active and involved in a sport that they love and on the right path to a successful future.
