Logic Communications named title sponsor of Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) Senior Domestic Cricket

 

 

May 2nd, 2012, Hamilton Bermuda. Logic Communications and BCB are excited to announce a new partnership sponsoring senior domestic 50 overs cricket.

 

The newly titled Logic Premier League will feature the top clubs, St. Davids, Bailey, Devonshire Recreation Club, Willow Cuts, Southampton Rangers and Cleveland County CC. The sponsorship also extends to the First Division.

 

Each week Logic will reward the player of the week from each Division with a Logic gift voucher. Additionally at the end of the season Logic will present a 'Player of the Year' trophy to the Most Valuable Player in each Division.

 

 To cap off its sponsorship package Logic Communications will provide free-of-charge broadband internet service to all clubs and the BCB office and professional support personel.

 

Diana Winfield, Head of Marketing and Customer Operations at Logic Communications said, "We are pleased to partner with the Bermuda cricket Board. We know that by providing free broadband access to community based cricket clubs they will be able to offer an enhanced experience to their members and the local community. We are aware that some clubs provide after-school assistance and most have significant youth programs that will be able to leverage this initiative as access to the Internet is considered an integral component in learning for the student of today."

 

Ms Winfield continued, "Furthermore, we recognise the importance that sport, and in particular, cricket, plays in our community and we look forward to the increased visibility and excitement provided to our national sport through these promotional activities. We look forward to this being a long and successful partnership."

The ability to provide free high speed Internet to our grass roots community based clubs will result in greater opportunity fo rthem to build their programs and increase their membership. Additionally, the awarding of the player of the week for each division provides a great incentive and encouragement o all our players."

 

The season officially begins on Sunday May 6th, 2012.
