BCB Executive Director elected to the ICC Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee

 

The BCB is pleased to confirm that ICC President David Morgan announced that BCB Executive Director, Mr. Neil Speight has been selected to serve on the ICC Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee. Neil will serve alongside, Sharad Pawar, Chairman, Giles Clarke, Haroon Lorgat and David Morgan. Please see the ICC Media Release below.

 

President of the BCB, Mr. Reginald Pearman commented, "Following Neil's election to the International Cricket Council's Executive Board last July, the BCB would like to congratulate Neil on being selected by the ICC to serve on the ICC Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee. This is another monumental achievement for Neil and we are extremely pleased with his success."

Make-up of ICC committees

 

ICC President David Morgan has announced details of the ICC committee structure for the next 12 months. In addition to the Cricket Committee, whose members were appointed previously, there are four other main committees, namely the Audit Committee, Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee, Governance Review Committee and the HR and Remuneration Committee.

 

Audit Committee


The ICC Audit Committee will be an independent body. Following the resignation of chairman Sir John Anderson, Alan Isaac from New Zealand has been appointed to replace him. The rest of the committee will be made up of the ethics officer, Thandi Orleyn from South Africa, and two other independent members, London-based Indian Birendra Agarwal and one other, who will be nominated shortly.
