Trott inspires Bay triumph Bailey?s Bay 201 St. David?s 178Kearon Trott snatched five wickets for 52 runs off 10 overs as home side Bailey?s Bay defeated St. David?s by 23 runs in Premier Division limited overs play at Sea Breeze Oval on Saturday. As Trott posed all kind of problems with his medium pacers, St. David?s faced a huge task of reaching their winning target despite some good batting performances. Also among the wickets for Bay was Burton Outerbridge who claimed two for 53 off 10 overs. St. David?s? hopes were raised with solid knocks from Chris Foggo, who topped scored on 46, and number nine bat Loren Marshall who chipped in with 44, the pair adding 59 for the ninth wicket, taking the score from 99 for eight to 158 when Foggo was finally dismissed. Others in double figures were Arthur Pitcher jr on 23, Shea Pitcher 15 and Dell Hollis 12. Earlier Bay reached the double century mark thanks to good scores from Jermaine Warner with 42, Tywan Burgess 33, skipper Jermaine Outerbridge and Jamie Smith with 23 apiece and Rodney Trott 19. Hollis and Loren Marshall each took two wickets for 28 while Justin Pitcher had two for 31.
