What a difference a year makes!--->
WHO would have thought a year ago that Bermuda would be going to the 2007 World Cup, have over $11 million injected into the game by Government and the national team would be travelling to play in countries like Namibia and now the United Arab Emirates?
"Things have changed," laughed Bermuda's national coach, former West Indies Test player Gus Logie who left for the UAE with the team last night to play five friendly limited overs games.

2006 Belco Cup Competition
|
2006 will mark the fourth year of the Belco Cup. The competition which started in 2003 sees the top four teams in the premier division from the previous season competes in a Semi-final played on Saturday and the Final on Sunday. Southampton Rangers two times winners will be hoping to retained the cup and make it three out of four.

Announcing the St. George's Cricket Club Youth Football Leagues Registration!

If your child(boy or girl) is interested in playing football for St. George's Colts during the 05-06 season, the time has come to re-register! On Thursday, 15th June 2006, Karon Brown will be @ St. George's Cricket Club, on the porch, between 5:30-7:30pm with registration papers and youth transfer papers for your kids and new kids wanting to join the programme from other teams.
Also on the evening, will be registration for St. George's CC's new Women's League team @ the same time, same place & same person(Karon Brown). If you didn't know already, Mr. Vance Brown, Bermuda's Women's National Team coach, has agreed to be the Head Coach of this NEW exciting team. If you know of any ladies whom are interested in playing football, or would like to play under Coach Brown, please

Stanford 20/20 Match schedule released
|
Bermuda will take on regional cricket power house Jamaica on July 21, 2006 in the Stanford 20/20. The tournament which starts on July 11, will see St. Marrten vs. USVI and Bahamas vs. Cayman Islands in the two first round matches.

ICC Intercontinental Cup 2006 schedule announced
The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced the schedule for the ICC Intercontinental Cup 2006 with 14 matches scheduled to take place across four continents.
The third season of the first-class tournament for non-Test playing countries will begin with a qualification play-off between Namibia and Nepal in Windhoek from 23 to 26 March 2006.
