2010 Youth Leagues

 

The BCB is pleased to announce that the Youth Leagues will run from April 21 - June 26.

 

Once again, the BCB would like to thank the Youth League sponsors, Hiscox, Bermuda Security Group and BF&M who continue to support the programme.

AGE GROUPS

The age groups are as follows: 8&U, 11&U, 14&U and 17&U (age at September 1st).

SCHEDULE

BCB 8&U League - Saturday 9.30am - 12pm National Stadium (played with a soft ball - no pads and no helmets required)

 

Hiscox 11&U League - Wednesday  5.15pm - 7.30pm (15 overs)

 

BSG 14&U League - Friday evenings 5.30pm - 8.00pm (20 overs)

 

BF&M 17&U League - Saturdays 9.30 or 1.30pm start (check schedule) (30 overs)

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE AND FORMS

Registration deadline for TEAMS is Friday 26 March, 2010, however, please submit your team and player registration as soon as possible, which aids in the smooth running of the schedule.

RULES - a full listing of the rules is on the website listed under RULES

* Please note the U11 Rule Change - the overs have changed from 20 to 15 overs per game and the batsman will have to retire on 20 runs.  This is to reduce the length of the game on a school night.

 

ALL STAR GAMES (NATIONAL SPORTS CENTRE)

BCB 8&U (last round of league matches) on Saturday June 19

Hiscox 11&U All Star Game will take place on Saturday June 12 before the Hiscox 11&U   Celebrity Festival Game. The league will finish June 19.

BSG 14&U and BF&M 17&U Leagues: Saturday June 26.
