BCB expresses its concern for the safety of the Womens Team travelling to Pakistan

In light of the recent political unrest in Pakistan and the upcoming Women's World Cup Qualifiers scheduled to be held in Lahore, November 17^_ 26, 2007, the BCB would like to state that the safety of the squad members are of paramount importance. The matter is under constant detailed review and scrutiny by the following organisations:

i. The ICC and its security advisors

ii. The Pakistani Cricket Board

iii. The Bermuda Police Service.

The various recommendations of the stakeholders and security experts will be considered at the BCB Executive meeting, Tuesday, November 6, 2007.
