Delray Rawlins joins the squad for the 50 Over Matches


The BCB confirms that Delray Rawlins has joined the squad to participate in the 50 over matches against USA this week.


The BCB has worked with his school and parents to enable Delray to compete for a place in the upcoming WCL 3 in Bermuda. Immediately after the 50 over fixtures against USA Delray, along with Greg Maybury and Tre Manders will return to Bermuda until May 6th to be available for WCL 3 if selected.


BCB President Lloyd Fray stated, "We are very grateful for the flexibility and commitment that Delray's school and family have provided to allow Delray an opportunity to compete for a place in this crucial tournament. The BCB always considers education is the primary concern when approaching young players and we have been provided with full assurance that his studying will be not compromised by this chance to represent our country."


The squad will be submitted to the ICC by midnight March 28th. The BCB expects that the ICC will make the official announcements of player and officials shortly after that.

Bermuda will host the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 from April 28 to May 6. Teams involved include; Oman, Italy, Nepal, USA, Bermuda and Uganda. Matches will be held at the National Sports Center, St. David's Cricket Club and Somerset Cricket Club. A schedule will be announced shortly.
