Canada v Bermuda ODIs and ICUP Officials

 

The BCB is pleased to announce that Umpire, Roger Dill, from the Associate and Affiliate International Umpires' Panel, has been selected by the ICC to officiate the forthcoming ICC I-Cup, July 4th - 7th, and three ODI games, June 28th, 29th and July 1st, in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Dill has been a member of the Associate and Affiliate International Umpires' Panel since 2005.

Umpire and referee appointments announced for upcoming ODI and ICC Intercontinental Cup matches in Canada, Bermuda and Scotland

 

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the appointments for upcoming ODI and ICC Intercontinental Cup matches.

 

Canada plays host to Bermuda in three ODIs on 28, 29 June and 1 July. All games will take place at King City near Toronto and will be overseen by Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees.

 

The on-field umpires for those matches will be Gary Baxter from the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires and Roger Dill from the ICC Associate and Affiliate International Umpires' Panel.

 

Also on 1 July, on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, Ireland will take on New Zealand in an ODI in Aberdeen, Scotland. The following day, host Scotland will play Ireland at the same venue and on 3 July the Scots will take on the Black Caps, again in Aberdeen.

 

The matches will be overseen by Javagal Srinath of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees with Steve Davis of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and Paul Baldwin of the Associates and Affiliates Panel standing.

 

There then follows three four-day ICC Intercontinental Cup matches, two in Canada and one in Bermuda. From 4 to 7 July, Baxter and Dill will stand in the match between last year's beaten finalist Canada and Bermuda at King City.

 

Dill will then head to Bermuda for the match with Scotland at the National Stadium in Hamilton where he will be joined by Shahul Hameed, also of the Associates and Affiliates Panel.

 

Meanwhile, Baxter will remain in Ontario for the game between Canada and Scotland from 16 to 19 July, again at King City. Shahul will be the other on-field umpire to stand in the match.
