U17 BFM 2012

The BCB is extremely pleased to announce that BF&M are continuing to sponsor the BF&M 17&Under League for the 2012 season. This year the BF&M 17&Under League will be a 40 overs competition starting on the 28^th April and will continue on 26 May, 2 June, 16 June and June 23Additionally, BF&M are supporting a T20 Tournament played on a round robin basis to be played on 5 May, 12 May and 19 May.

As official insurers of the Bermuda Cricket League and sponsors of the Women's National Team, we are pleased to further our support of local cricket by sponsoring the U17 League for another year, said BF&M President & CEO John Wight. We are proud to support a league that offers a variety of opportunities to teens. Not only do these young men get to play a game they love, they get the chance to develop self discipline and learn how to be a productive member of a team. We wish all the participants in the U17 team a great season."

President of the BCB, Mr. Lloyd Fray stated, "On behalf of the Board, I am extremely pleased to announce BF&Ms continued support of the 17&U League which provides cricket competition opportunities for young people age from 14 17. The BCB feels strongly that the BF&M 17&U League is one of our most important leagues, which fills a gap in the community by offering young men and women an environment which encourages and requires discipline, focus, communication and teamwork. I am pleased to see that this year there is the added T20 Trophy to play for and I wish all the teams the best of luck!"
