National Coach, Mr. Gus Logie noted,

"We are extremely pleased to be able to offer this Elite Training Programme for some of Bermuda's most talented U15 players. The younger we start to prepare them for international competition, the better prepared they will be to face what will be expected of them when they reach the senior level. During the course of the camp, the players will be introduced to the latest fitness techniques, game tactics and mental aspects of the game. The programme will teach them how to interpret video analysis of their own game and that of the opposition."

Mr. Logie continued,

"I am looking forward to working with former army instructor and trainer, Mr. Clinton Jeremiah, who is joining us from Trinidad and Tobago. Mr. Jeremiah has a wealth of 'cricket specific' fitness training experience and has trained many national level teams, including the West Indies 'A' team."

President of the BCB, Mr. Reginald Pearman stated:

"This is an excellent opportunity for our talented young players to experience training at a higher level. I am particularly pleased to see Reuna Richardson competing amongst the boys and I hope to see more girls taking part in the future. The BCB is committed to developing our younger players and we plan to introduce this 'elite' style of training camp to all other age groups."
