U13 All Star Tournament

 

The St. Kitts & Nevis All-star squad lost their first game by 6 wickets yesterday against the Barbados National Sports Council Development Squad XI at Dover.

 

Having won the toss the All-stars decided to bat first, they were bowled out for 115 - after 22.1 overs. Charles Marshall was second highest scorer for the St. Kitts All star team with a knock of 17 including four 4s, while Cejay Outerbridge scored 5 not out and claimed the teams best bowling return of 2 for 8.

 The All Star v Barbados NSC Development Squad

 

 

In the other game Barbados beat Trinidad & Tobago by 13 runs at Carlton. Batting first Barbados scored 149/2 from their 30 overs.  Top scorer for the Bajans was Jafari Toppin with 56 not out. while Lee Gaskin scored 53. Trinidad & Tobago scored 137 all out in 29.1 overs. Kamil Pooran top scored with 31 while Carl Viala chipped in with 25. Ricardo Small-Boyce returned figures of 5/17 as the Trini's bowled 28 of their 30 overs with spinners.

 

The all-star team play Trinidad & Tobago today at the Wanders.

Barbados will play the Development Squad tomorrow at Dover.
