All Star Match Game 5

The St. Kitts & Nevis All-stars lost their match yesterday against the Barbados U13 National team at Carlton.

Having won the toss the Barbados U13 choose to bat. The All-Stars struck in the first over, having Akiel Greenidge caught at mid on. However, his opening partner and skipper Lee Gaskin had other intensions as he batted the entire innings for 73 not out. Gaskin knock contained 6 fours .

Matthew Jones was next high man with 41 batting at number 5. while number 3 bat Jafari Toppin chipped in with 28.

Jahdel "Hammer" Richardson was the most successful bowler for the All-stars claiming 3 for 35 from his 6 overs. Jeremiah Louis and Kwame Challenger claimed one wicket apiece.

The All-stars batting woes continued as they were dismissed for a poultry 77 all out from 26 overs. Eight batsman were clean bowled, during their innings. Doing the damage for the NSC National team was Matthew Jones as he bagged 4 wickets for 10 runs from his 6 overs. While Jafari Toppin claimed 2 wickets.

High man for the All-stars was Saeed Williams with 16 while "Hammer" finished off a good days performance with 15 not out.
