U13 All Stars Win Game 4

The St. Kitts & Nevis All-Stars started their second round of matches with a victory over the NSC Development XI at Dover.

Having won the toss the NSC team chose to bat and they found themselves in trouble early. Opener Leneko Boucher was run out in the second over via some great team work involving Delray Rawlins and wicketkeeper Charles Marshall.

Feeding off the energy of his team mates opener Colin Archibald continued to make inroads into the NSC batting line up as he snapped up the next three wickets to fall. He clean bowled Kevin Bartlett. Then had Micah Staurt dismissed lbw and collected his third when wicketkeeper Marshall took a low diving catch off of Jamar Ifill. The All-Stars fielding skills were further shown when Rawlins brilliantly ran out Drakes later in the NSC innings.

NSC slowly rebuilt their innings around the bat of Nicolis who ended up with a fighting 21 batting at number 5. He was assisted by number 6 batsman Dakembi Wilson and number 7 batsman Shamari Gibson whom both chipped in with 16 runs apiece. While high man for the NSC team was number 9 batsman Joshua Bishop with 30 not out.

The All-Stars provided some early greetings giving up over 50 extras to add to the NSC team total.

The All-Stars then came good with their run chase as openers Colin Archibald & Saheed Williams combined for a 50 run opening stand. Archibald was first to go falling short of his fifty with 42. Williams was soon to his opening partner with a knock of 32. Avier Christian fell short of scoring the winning runs as he only contributed 15 to his teams effort. Victory was secured when Marshall and skipper Jeremiah Louis combined to finish off the run chase.
