U13 All Star Tournament Day 2

The St. Kitts & Nevis All-stars lost their second game yesterday against Trinidad & Tobago. Having won the toss the All-stars chose to bat.

Once again they could only post a low total of 115. This was due largely to some disciplined bowling from the Trinidadian quartet of spin bowling.

The All-stars found themselves behind when in the tenth over they lost opener Ross Powell and then #3 bat Charles Marshall within the space of two deliveries. Ross was caught at short fine leg trying to sweep and then Marshall at short third man off of the only ball he faced. The score was 17 - 2 at that point.

Avier Christian gave the All-stars a fighting chance with his 54 not out (5 x 4s & 1 x 6s) from 36 balls.The next high man for the All-stars was Jeremiah Louis with 13.

The Trinidad opening pair laid the foundation for their teams victory with an opening stand of 61 from 12 overs. The rest was a formality as the remaining 56 runs were scored in 8 overs.
