The BCB is sorry to announce that due to a grade 1 level injury to his right adductor muscle, Kyle Hodsoll will not be able to take part in the ICC Americas Championship, 23 November - 1 December, 2008, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Board has called upon stand-by player, Delyone Borden to take his place and is currently awaiting confirmation from the ICC Technical Committee for confirmation of the replacement. Gus Logie, National Coach stated, "It is a shame to see that Kyle is injured especially due to all the hard work he has put in whilst in Australia, however, I know his injury is being treated and I am confident that he will return to his fit condition as soon as possible. I am pleased that Delyone has stepped into the national team and we expect to see good things from him." |
