BCB's Pee Wee "Have-a-go- Cricket - a great success The Bermuda Cricket Board was extremely pleased to have such a great turnout on Saturday at the Pee Wee Cricket Workshop for children ages 5 - 7. This year so far the number of participants quadrupled to over 130 children. It was a real treat for many youngsters not only to be able to play cricket but also to be taught by some of Bermuda's top cricket players. The National Team assisted the BCB coaches teaching the youngsters how to catch, bat and bowl. The Workshop is being held at Berkeley Institute Gym and will take place every Saturday, starting on March 7 and finishing on April 11, 2009. The sessions will run from 12.00pm - 1.30pm. To register: please download the registration form from www.cricket.bm listed under NEWS below and return by fax (292 8959), email (info@cricket.bm) or deliver to the BCB as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact the BCB on 292 8958 or email info@cricket.bm Participation is free. Dress and equipment: Please ensure players bring some water and come in comfortable clothes and sneakers for running around. They are welcome to bring their own plastic bat if they have one, however, please make sure it is clearly labeled with their name! Parents are encouraged to volunteer during sessions if they wish! The BCB would like to thank all the National Team Players and Coaches who volunteered their time to assist on Saturday!
