2007-12-21 BCB Selectors Announced 20/20 Squad of 16
The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the 16 players that have been selected for the Stanford 20/20 game against Guyana on February 10th, 2008 A 13 man squad from the 16 will be announced on 7th January, 2008, at which point a vice-captain will be named. Two of the squad members will be nominated from the players that are in the Under 19 squad but not selected in the final 15 to go to the U19 World Cup in Malaysia. 2007-10-25 Butterfield returns home due to injury
The BCB can confirm that due to a non-cricket related, grade II ankle injury, Mr. Kian Butterfield is unable to continue on tour with the National Senior team. The team is currently in Kenya preparing for the upcoming ICC Intercontinental Cup games against Kenya and UAE. Mr. Butterfield will be returning to Bermuda on Friday 26, 2007, to seek further medical treatment and return to work.

2007-08-28 Leverock & Romaine Nominated
Bermuda?s captain Irving Romaine and Dwayne Leverock are two of the 18 players nominated for the 2007 Associate One Day International Player of the Year for this year?s ICC Awards ceremony. The Associate ODI Player of the Year Award serves to recognize and reward the efforts in ODI?s of the outstanding cricketer from the six countries outside the ICC Full Members ? Bermuda, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, the Netherlands and Scotland. The long lists of nominations for prizes will be presented at the fourth annual ICC Awards, presented in association with FICA (the Federation of International Cricketers? Associations). Player from each category that is to be reduced to a shortlist on or around 4 September will be in attendance for the Awards. This year?s event is set to take place in Johannesburg on 10 September, the day before the opening match of the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 tournament.

2007-08-25 Bermuda Go Down in Ireland
The Bermuda National Team went down to an Innings & 146 run defeat to Ireland. Stephen Outerbridge was the top scorer with 53, it was Outerbridge who also top scored in the second innings with 50. [Scorecard]

2007-08-23 Bermuda Grab 3 Wickets against Ireland
Due to overnight rain the match was delayed. Irving Romaine won the toss and elected to field on Day 1 of the Intercontinental Cup 4 Day match against Ireland. The Bermuda Team toiled all day, after George O?Brien Jr. snatched an early wicket it wasn?t until late into the second session that the second wicket of the day fell. Stefan Kelly grabbed the wicket of Ireland? inform batsman Andre Botha for 122. Dwayne Leverock picked up the last wicket of the day when Stefan Kelly caught Niall O?Brien. William Porterfield who scored 112 not out against Bermuda in Kenya during the World Cricket League Division 1 back on January 31st continued where he left off as he batted throughout the day facing 302 balls, and scored 153 runs. 2007-08-22 Bermuda Go Down to Canada
Bermuda Women's National Team went down by 5 wickets to Canada at the Maple Leaf Cricket Ground in the ICC Americas Womens Championships. Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat scoring 169/8 in their 40 overs, with Terry-Lynn Paynter the top scorer with 58, while Britney Marshall chipped in with 17. In reply Canada scored 173/5, Joanna White was the top scorer with 50, and Kim Coulter added 37. [Scorecard]

2007-08-21 Bermuda Go Down to Trinindad
Trinidad 173/10 Bermuda Women's National Team 109/10 Trinidad won the toss and elected to bat. Whitney Cudjoe was the top scorer with 47. Britney Marshall was the top bowler with figures of 6-0-20-3. In reply Bermuda, came up 64 runs short of their target when they were bowled all out for 109. Marshall scored 25 runs to lead the batting, while captain Chevonne Furbert chipped in with 15. 2007-08-20 Bermuda Win by 143 Runs
Argentina won the toss and elected to bat, Reuna Richardson was the top scorer with 96, Richardson hit 14 fours and 1 six in her stay at the wicket, Linda Mienzer was the next high scorer with 30, and Wendy Woodley chipped in with 23 as Bermuda scored 275/6 in their 40 overs. In replay Bermuda bowled Argentina all out for 132. Terry-Lynn Paynter had figures of 8-0-27-5, while Britney Mrshall took 3-35. [Scorecard]
