BCB Prize Presentation Reminder

The BCB would like to remind clubs that the BCB Prize Presentation is on Saturday 23 October at the National Sports Centre Pavilion, 7pm. The following clubs and people will be receiving awards. Please notify players and if they are unavailable please ensure a representative is in attendance to collect the awards/prize money.

Malachi Jones and the Willow Cuts Hearing
|
|
Further to the recent incident in which Malachi Jones disobeyed the direct orders of National Coach, David Moore, not to play domestic cricket during the recent ICC Americas Division 1 Championship, the Executive Committee has decided to ban Malachi Jones from two (2) domestic league games and one (1) international series. Willow Cuts have been issued a severe reprimand for their lack of compliance and leadership in this matter.

2010 Domestic League Update

The Executive has considered the current structure of the 50 overs league and have decided to continue the 2010 season as communicated (without the U19s - see link below). Consideration was given to promotion and relegation issues at the end of the 2010 season as well as the involvement of the U19s in the 2011 season and it was decided to refer this matter to the cricket committee for detailed consideration and recommendation.
