All cricket scorers, persons interested in cricket scoring, are invited to a presentation at the Community & Cultural Affairs Boardroom, 81 Court St (across from Cabinet Grounds) on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 6.30 p.m. The presentation will be given by Mr. Mike Glasford (Scorer) and Mr. Steven Douglas (Umpire). The presentation will focus on the team relationship between the scorers and the umpires; the importance of consistency in scoring and umpiring; maintaining accuracy; and an understanding of the many signals used and to be acknowledged in today's game. Congratulations to both St. David?s and Somerset who defeated their opponents to advance to the final of the BCB inaugural 20-20- tournament. St. David?s defeated Police RC by 7 Wickets and Somerset defeated Leg Trappers by 5 Wickets. The Final and plate matches are schedule for next Sat. May 10 at the beautiful National Sports Centre field.

2008-04-16 BCB Launches Open League Cricket
BCB launches Open League cricket to replace the failed two-day format. The new single day play will have longer conditions, each match will be of 120 overs duration. 2008-04-12 BCB launch 20/20 Tournament
Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) have launch a new Twenty/20 competition for the coming season. The Island is divided into four zones: East, East Central, West and West Central. Each zone will have four teams who will play each other three times. Those sides with the most points will then go on to compete in the semi-finals and finals to be held at the National Sports Centre. Start times for 26/27 April and 3 May is 11 am and 3 pm.
