Bermuda National Cricket Coach

 

The BCB is seeking a National Coach to drive forward the Bermuda National Senior Team's preparation for the World Cricket League Division 2 in 2011. The National Coach will also provide oversight and direction for the high performance program for all senior, junior elite and women's cricket programs.

 

A high quality coach is sought to ensure progression of the team up to World Cricket League 2011 and onto the Cricket World Cup Qualifying Tournament in 2013. International fixtures already in place include Intercontinental Cup and the ICC Americas Division 1.

 

Qualifications

 

Candidates should hold a minimum of an ECB Level 3 Coaching Award (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate ability to coach players at an international level. Candidates should possesses a Bachelors degree and preferably a post-graduate degree and demonstrate a strong educational background.

 

Candidates will need to show good organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to deal in a friendly, businesslike manner with all stakeholders. Previous experience in the management of people and budgets, with some past experience in the playing, coaching and administration of cricket is preferred.

 

Candidates will be expected to hold a valid driving license, have good computer literacy and excellent administrative skills.
