Mike Young to offer Fielding Workshops
The BCB is pleased to announce that Mr. Mike Young, specialist fielding coach for the Australian Cricket Team, will be conducting fielding workshops from Wednesday, 28 May - Friday, 30 May, 2008. The workshops are open to the public to attend.
Mr. Young comes to Bermuda with a wealth of expert fielding experience, coaching the Australian Cricket Team since 2001. Previously, Mr. Young professionally coached both Olympic and professional baseball teams. During his visit to Bermuda, he will be working closely with our national players, club players and coaches and will focus on the following areas:

Improving throwing technique and skill drills

Improving hitting the stumps and underarm diving

Improving better feet position, body height and fielding square

Emphasising the importance of team plays

Working with team coaches and promoting the basics
-
Developing an ongoing fielding programme for the season and off season
