Girls Development Team Prize Presentation

 

 

On Saturday June 26th the Bermuda Girls Development Team held their end of season prize giving and fun day. The girls enjoyed a day out swimming, kayaking and playing a game of 'Backyard Cricket'. Bermuda National Men's Coach, David Moore was on hand to present the trophies. Coach Moore spoke to the girls about the future of Women's Cricket in Bermuda and the importance of setting and maintaining a high standard of commitment to not only their cricket but their school work, their families and all other activities they are involved in. The girls are looking forward to the next season of cricket and the opportunities that are available to them through the game of cricket!

Best Deportment (Wicket Keeping Gloves)

  • Satyrah Robinson

 

Most Improved Player (Cricket Set)

  • Shevaughne Pemberton

 

Best Batsman (Bermuda Jersey signed by Irving Romaine)

  • Rebecca Gibbons

 

Best Bowler (Cricket Ball signed by the Bowlers of the Bermuda Men's Team)

  • Charclair Lambe

 

Player of the Series (Autographed mini bat by the 2010 Men's National Team)

  • Rebecca Gibbons

Rebecca Gibbons receiving her award for Player of the Season. Rebecca received a trophy as well as a mini bat autographed by the entire Bermuda National Men's Squad. Rebecca also received an award for Batsman of the Season and was given a trophy along with a Bermuda jersey autographed by Irving Romaine.
