"BF&M congratulates all of the participants in the 2010 U17 All Star Game," said BF&M President and CEO John Wight. "We are pleased to continue our support of cricket in Bermuda by sponsoring the Bermuda Cricket Board's Under 17 League. This league gives our young people a chance to become physically active by playing a game they love while developing important life skills like discipline, camaraderie and leadership."
Mr. Reginald Pearman, President of the BCB stated, "I was pleased to note such a strong turnout at this year's U17 game. I hope to see many of these players work hard to progress to our National U19 Programme. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank BF&M for supporting this league which continues to grow and, more importantly, provides structure and a positive environment for young Bermudian men to play cricket at a transitional time in their lives. In addition, I would like to thank the coaches who volunteer their time to coach and mentor these young players and the scorers, umpires and other volunteers who helped make the All-Star day such a success."
