BCB Announces National Academy Trials

 

 

The BCB are calling all players to come and try out for the BCB National Academy. There will be full and open trials for the following (junior elite) Academy Squads.

Under 13 (born on or after September 1, 1998)

Under 15 (born on or after September 1, 1996)

Girls Under 16 (born on or after September 1, 1995)
Boys Under 18 (born on or after September 1, 1993)

The BCB National Academy Trials take place as follows:

Girls U16 National Academy Team Trials (no prior experience required)
Tuesday 10 April - BHS - 5pm-6pm

Boys U13 National Academy Team Trials

Wednesday 28 March - Berkeley Nets - 5.30pm-7.00pm
Sunday 1 April - Berkeley Nets - 1.00pm-3.00pm

 

Boys U15 National Academy Team Trials

Tuesday 27 March - Berkeley Nets - 5.30pm-7.00pm
Sunday 1 April - Berkeley Nets - 10.00am-12.00pm

 

Boy U18s National Academy Team Trials

Monday 19 March - BHS - 5.45pm-8.00pm
Monday 26 March - BHS - 5.45pm-8.00pm

The BCB National Academy is run under the directorship of the National Coach, David Moore. The Academy's focus is to coach players in batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping and to develop and improve technical proficiency, tactical awareness, cognitive understanding, physical development and a psychological grounding in each athlete. The teams will train regularly under the guidance of qualified cricket coaches and will compete locally and/or overseas.
 
It is the BCB's overall aim to promote healthy lifestyles for all our young players and to provide a safe environment for them to compete at the highest level and to have fun.
 
Please bring your own water and equipment (if you have any) and wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes.
